Models
Found Object: dead wooden stick
My first set of abstract study models were basically just 3D versions of my abstraction sketches so I could see what type of models could me made from those starting ideas.
My second set of abstract study models were revised ones from the originals above. I began to start adding more to original models along with making things asymmetrically balanced and added many more curved and diagonal lines to try and give the models more of a form.
My Final concept model came out from a combination of my study models. With diagonal lines, curved lines and asymmetrical form, I was able to accomplish the model that I was working towards.
The final functional seat and shelter model, this did not turn out quite how I would have liked it to. It ended up seeming not as sturdy as I had planned, but the shape and form of this model is just what I wanted. With its huge diagonally curved sheltered cover, non-objective seats and see through cut out pieces on the structure itself I believe this would be a very comfortable place to relax on a sunny day.
