Seat and Shelter Project
This project was evolved from my models shown in this blog. I was very pleased with how my posters turned out, from the positive and negative space, to how my drawings and hand drafted lettering worked out. These three boards show my process for the seat and shelter that started from a stick of wood, and went on to me creating the 2-D partis and 3-D models, all the way too the final functional model. My elevation sketches and views of the seat and shelter were not as difficult as I had expected. I believe they turned out to look nice and clean even though in the section view the hands of my person are a definite distraction to the drawing. I am not completely happy with the final functional model because it did not stand the way I would like so that the actual space was more noticeable. Next time I think am going to put a base on the shelter so that it stands properly and can give the full effect.
